Photographer 11

John Pezzenti was a nature photographer. He spent most his taking pictures in the Alaska wilderness. Took pictures for many different magazines(National Geograpaahic, Readers Digest). I like his photos of the wildlife because they're so up close. it's like he's right there next to the animals to get the photo.

Marc Adamus is a landscape photographer. He's known for the way he captures light. the sucess of capturing light comes from his patience to get the perfect moments. i like his pictures because of the way he catches the light. The light also helps attrached your eye to the water and scenery.

My Photographer is Enrico Martino. Enrico is a photojournalist who cover many of the wars. after 1985 he started focusing on geographic photos that focused on the social and cultural aspects. I like his work because he brings out other cultures that aren't as well known or seen.

Photographer 8

Skip Bolen is my photographer. he's known for his jazz photography. He's dedicated to capturing the moment type of pictures. he never uses flash so he has to adaprt to his surroundings. He left New Orleans temporarly only to come back to pursue his Jazz Photography career. i like these photos because they're all natuaral photos and he does stage them. i think it gives it a good look to these types of photos

Macro

This is my best macro photo. It worked getting to eye level with the input part. the other pictures i took of the same thing were at bad angels. it was hard to get a photo of this without the flash do to bad lighting. I liked this cause the focus is up front but you still can see the rest of the cord

I like this picture because the movement of the flag. It's not like a distracting movement. The only distracting thing in this photo is the two lights in the background. Other then that i thought that this was a good photo.

I could've tried to get a better angle of this photo, one that is more straight on. Also i could've been a little higher when i took the picture so you could see the whole stretch of the endzone a little clearer.

Photographer 7

My photographer for the week is Eddie Adams. He is known as a photojurnalist do to the fact that he has taken pictures for 13 wars. He has also won a Pulitzer-Prize in 1969 for his photo during the vietnam war. He also served in the Marine Corps for combat photography during the korean war. I like his pictures because it's something you wouldn't normally see. His photos show some of the truths of war. He also has some sweet shots of celebrities like the one of Mother Teresa.

Elliot is an advertising and journalistic photographer. He studied photography at the Los Angeles City College and at the New School for Social Research. Elliot was influence when he meet Edward Steinchen, Robert Capa, and Roy Stryker. Stryker was the firt person to hire him for photography project. After that job he became a Freelance photographer. He joined the Magnum Photo agency in 1953 which gave him to travel the world and take pictures.

This next photographer I'm writing about is Ansel Adams. Adams is known as one of Americas greatest landscape photographers. Ansel was had a big contribution to the public recognition to the art of photography. He had such a passion for the wilderness that he want to show others to help conserve it

My photographer this week is Brett Weston. His father, who was also a photographer believed that by the age 14 he was already a better photographer then himself. By age 20 his work was being seen internationally. I like his work because it's all in black and white. all though it's not in color i still think his photos bring out the beauty of what he was taking.

My Photographer is Christopher Burkett. Christopher is an American landscape photographer. He grew up in the Pacific Northwest. He first became interested in photography as a form of spiritual expression. When he was a child he often spent his time exploring forest and fields. He was filled with an inspiration that he had to show to the world. i like his work because it's all about nature and personally i think they look amazing.

My photographer this week is David Muench. He is a nature and an American landscape photographer. His main area of taking pictures is the Western American landacape. He's photos have been in more then 50 books and also appears in magazines, posters, and etc.. He's in a ffamily of photographer. Both his dad and his son are photographers.
